I am a mother of a 14 month old daughter, I currently work full time but my daughters dayhome will be closing; I am well equipped to care for a few children and/or infants as you will see below. I am looking to open February 1st as an alternative option for my family.

I live in a very spacious townhome with a basement full of toys and a main floor play space as well, I have 2 highchairs, a bumbo, playpen, a foam sofa and I will probably invest in some cots, I also have two exersaucers (1 bouncy exersaucer/1 stationary), I have a decent sized yard with outdoor toys as well. I am located in southwest Edmonton just off the Whitemud, 2 minutes drive from Southgate mall.

Let me just say I have TONS of toys & indoor space, way more  toys then my daughter could ever play with, I have books and movies and we have babytv too which my daughter loves. I offer a calm atmosphere with lots of entertainment, your kids will never be bored!

A little about me & how I CARE:
I love watching children learn and interact with each other, they are very smart and patience and understanding are key. I feel I have absolutely more then enough space and toys to stretch, explore and play, expecially in these cold winter months. From viewing other dayhomes myself in the past, for my daughter, I found I was shocked and appalled at the size some of the daycares expected the children to move around in and play and sleep.

I am a firm believer of having a clean and organized house, as much as children will allow for.  I will feed your children two snacks and a nutritious lunch which we can discuss further if there are specific requirements, I can also feed them breakfast if you require early drop-off. I will do whatever you request in all approaches with your child or children. You are theirs and they are yours, you have the final say! I am the step-in. For my own daughter I believe she will learn by doing, cause and effect, she needs to be taught not punished, I believe she needs engagement, encouragement, comfort & rules/schedules to be healthy but also read her signs and adjust to what I feel she needs, these are values that will seep into your own childs care with me but I must stress I will follow what the paren(s) and child need and are use to in regards to scheduling naptime, favorite foods, ques to watch for and favorite toys/activies. I have been described as being a warm and welcoming presence. I am intuitive, patient, soft spoken, organized & attentive.
